Ishikawa Komuro Lab’s high-speed robot hand can do some really cool acts. The following video shows the dribbling of a ping-pong ball, spinning a pen, throwing a ball, tying knots, grasping a grain of rice with tweezers, and tossing / re-grasping a cellphone.
The dribbling time is 100/millisecond and this possible with very high speed actuators and the harmonic drive gears.
personally i found re- grasping the cellphone thrilling.
