Android Infected “Android” Is A Hot Cake For Cybercriminals

Cybercriminals are always on the move, means they attack what’s hot in the latter day. Android based smart phones have been under attack by such people since the OS has gained much popularity among users over the last months.

McAfee’s “Third Quarter Threats Report” tells us about the third quarter being the busiest time for general and mobile malware. The percentage grew 37% of the attacks made to Android devices.

One common scheme against Android is led by Trojans that collect personal information and steal money from the user by sending SMS messages. Another type of malware records phone conversations and sends them to the attacker.

AutoRun malware, and password-stealing Trojans have also been common type of threats posed to Android devices.

We wish that cybercriminals stop these illegal acts and try to win the world in respectful manners.
