Technology is the core part of human life today, if not in low economy countries then it is in richer countries for sure.
Researchers at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have developed an algorithm that is proved to be 15-20% better than the existing technology in automobile industry.
The algorithm is able to track the driver’s behavior whether he/she is a law abiding citizen or a violator. When the red light will turn on, the driver will stop on the intersection or not, such parameters will be monitored in 3D visuals in less than five milliseconds. The algorithm will prevent potential car crashes and collisions.
The researcher Jonathan How, a professor at MIT, tested the algorithm on 15000 vehicles and it was able to detect the red-light scofflaws 85 percent of the time.
