Burton Inc., a Japanese company, has demonstrated a laser creating 3D images in mid air at about 10-15 frames per second (FPS) with 50,000 dots created per second. The green light demonstration looks amazing and the company hopes to improve the FPS (24-30 FPS) for the betterment of this technology.
Burton Inc. claims to have projected real 3D image with their laser instead of creating an illusion of 3D with 2D images like other lasers do.
After using green, red and blue lasers a colored projection can also be achieved. Burton Inc. hopes to bring this technology into practical use in the signage, and healthcare departments, once the precision is accomplished.
