Italian anti-trust has fined Apple over misleading customers about their right to avail technical assistance for their iDevice for the period of two year without any charge. Instead Apple charged the customers after the standard one year product guarantee which contradicts the local law.
The Italian watchdog has fined 900,000 Euros to three local divisions of Apple, that include Apple Italia, Apple Sales International and Apple Retail Italia.
