Consumer Electronics Show has kicked off with a bang and so has Hewlett Packard with its full-glass laptop, Envy 14 Spectre.
This fully glass covered laptop is one of the major attractions at this year’s CES in Las Vegas. Spectre has 14inch screen size with a very bright picture quality almost visible from any angle. The company has used Gorilla Glass to protect it from scratches but I think it’s going to be bit risky using the Envy 14 in tight situations.
Beats Audio is included in HP’s new laptop, along with an inset analog wheel for volume control on the right side of the laptop that looks really nice.
Envy 14 comes with 128GB SSD drive with an option to replace it with a high storage capacity drive. Other features of Envy 14 Spectre include Core i5-2467M processor, 4GB of RAM, Ethernet, USB 3.0, HDMI, Mini DisplayPort, HP Wireless Audio, Bluetooth, and WiDi.
There is also a very new feature that HP has brought in a laptop, previously seen in Galaxy Nexus, NFC (Near Field Communication). Spectre also comes with fully installed Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Elements.
The price of Envy 14 Spectre is said to be $1399 and will be out in the market on February 8.
