Google plans to introduce its third gen Google TV software by the end of this year, in collaboration with LG Electronics.
Google is said to have given the access for its new software to LG, so it can make a compatible TV set for the search engine giant. The newer version of Google TV would facilitate the users with much easier functionality and lots of unmatched contents.
Previously, Google was forefront in similar partnerships with Samsung Electronics and HTC Corp. to develop Nexus handsets for the Android operating system. Already at CES, LG has been notified to unveil a TV set featuring Google software.
Such a partnership would allow LG to build a range of compatible TV sets. However, negotiations are being carried out for a final decision without any official word for the press.
