Facebook, founded in 2004, has been ranked the most visited social networking website by Brazilians last year, according to comScore figures.
36.1 million users visited Facebook last December to keep-up with friends. Zuckerberg’s FB has dominated many big names such as Twitter, Google+, and Tumblr. Brazil’s hot favorite Orkut has also been left behind by FB in recent comScore report with only 5% growth record in 2011.
Whereas Tumblr and Vostu have shown promising growth accompanying FB which recorded triple the growth in last year as compared to 2010’s data. LinkedIn rests at the bottom with only over 3 million unique visitors.
This is just the beginning of 2012 and a tough competition has already posed by Facebook to Google’s Orkut. Who will achieve the high figures this year let’s wait for December 2012.
