Wikipedia, after being blacked out for 24 hours, has now returned to its normality on Thursday midnight.
The most visited community site was out of its service as part of a protest against two online piracy bills, the Stop Online Piracy Act in the House and the Protect IP Act in the Senate.
The message proved to be much effective, which resulted that more than 12000 visitors out of 162 million visitors voted in Wikipedia’s favor and support on Wednesday.
However, across its banner on Thursday, Wikipedia thanked its visitors with a new message appeared, “We’re not done yet…SOPA and PIPA are not dead but merely waiting in shadows…”
“As Wikipedia went dark, you’ve directed your energy to protecting it,” the message continued. “We’re turning the lights back on. Help us keep them shining brightly.”
