In order to win back its dominance in the smartphone market Nokia has launched a range of phones at MWC 2012. Nokia is harvesting its hopes on Lumia 610 due to its less price tag of $250 (exclusive to taxes) and having Microsoft’s Windows as its operating system.
This can help the Finnish company to beat the likes of iPhone and Android phones, that’s what they think but the analysts foresee something else. The Asian manufacturers such as Huawei and ZTE have shifted their gears from making basic phones to smartphones that offer good performance in a price touching $100. This fact will displace Nokia’s efforts for survival.
Nokia is never going to like this, of course, the company has also unveiled other three basic smartphones with a camera phone 808 PureView that is most amazing because of its 41MP camera sensor with Carl Zeiss branded optics. This feature of Nokia 808 PurView tops any professional DSLR in the market, and may get some good response from camera lovers out there but the rest is unlikely to taste the honey.
