In case you’re just catching up Apple has unleashed its new iPad, finally putting an end to all the speculation prior to this event held by Cupertino just last night.
The new iPad as we have already enlightened you has 3.1 million pixels (2048 x 1536) that makes it 264ppi. Apple’s new slate is of 9.7inch and has much improved color saturation with Retina display, making it really the next big thing.
The new iPad hosts A5X processor and quad-core graphics chip, iSight 5MP rear camera that is similar to iPhone 4S’. it also captures 1080HD video.
New iPad has measurement as follow 9.5” tall, 7.31”wide and 0.37” thick. And it weighs 1.95 pounds. You might say this slate is bit fat than iPad 2 but believe me it won’t make a difference. The 30 pin port is still there which we once heard is going to die soon. The slate also hosts a new small microphone at the top of it, and new iPhoto app as well.
In one of our previous posts we have outlined the pricing details on new iPad. The gorgeousness Apple’s new baby lies much in its display, amazing. Here’s spec sheet for new iPad.

The next big announcement at March 7 event was iOS 5.1, that comes with lots of bug fixes and enhancements such as Japanese language support for Siri, redesigned camera app for iPad, camera icon’s visibility on the lockscreen of iPhone and iPod Touch, and the ability to delete pictures individually from Photo Stream.
iOS 5.1 is rolling out to iPads, iPhones, and compatible iPods. Was this event more electrifying than CES 2012 and MWC 2012 combined?
