Forth Dimension Displays which is the subsidiary of Koping Corporation has managed to squeeze the same number of pixels into a display smaller than one inch as found in the new iPad.
Apple claims its new iPad’s 9.7inch Retina Display has as much as 2048×1526 pixels that are impossible for naked eyes to discern.
Forth Dimension Displays with that arrangement of pixels on a tiny display hopes to better the near-to-eye (NTE) microdisplay hardware such as virtual reality goggles that has poor resolution.
The company is also to introduce a hi-res gaming accessory next year that would cost around $1800. But that figure is to come down if more OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) adopt company’s tech.
