Lumia 800.. Windows Phone Outsold Symbian Phones In UK, Lumia 800 Dominates Europe
According to the stats provided by Kantar Worldpanel 51.3% Britishers own a smart phone now. Thank God medieval is over and the people of Britain are more prone to technology these days.

The three months’ study (ended on February 19) shows that Windows Phone 7 has outsold the Symbian phones for the first time with 2.5% market share as compared to 2.4% of Symbian OS. And there’s another good news for Nokia, Lumia 800 is gaining popularity in Europe with its market share of 87% among all Windows Phones.

Isn’t it great that after Nokia and Microsoft have their profits slipped in the smart phone market in the US, UK is profiting them.

Apple’s iOS has also improved its stats with 28.7%, up from 22.7% from last year. But Android is the leader with its 48.5% market share.

Does this mean the Finnish company should eye the English market more precisely now?
