MIT researchers have created a camera that is capable of seeing the objects concealed in the corners of the room. Wondering how it is possible?

The camera fires the laser pulse that after hitting the walls scatters all around the room and during this process some of the photons return to the camera at different time intervals. The laser pulses once hit the hidden objects in the room enable the camera to detect the exact location of that certain object based on the distanced travelled by the laser.
Researchers hope to use this technology for emergency rescue situations.
