Google is famous to put its team members’ abilities to the test with mind blowing projects that don’t even fall under it actual line of business. The search company has Glass Project that it is working on with the team involved in developing self-driven cars, or driverless cars.
Under the tag of Glass Project Google is developing spectacles that perform certain tasks on voice commands of the wearer. Those certain tasks include video chatting, taking pictures, and displaying direction on-the-go.
The video that you must have watched already describes the number of possibilities when you have Google’s glasses on. You will be reminded about calendar events, temperature, about the friends who are nearby, and you can easily post a photo on Google+ by just voice commanding the spectacles. This is really fun out of the blue.
There is no news yet about when the new technology will be outed by Google for commercial use but it is heard that its team members are testing the product that is under development from last two years. Despite that, we can assume from the past record of Google that the company doesn’t waste its time on dream projects, rather it implement the technology within a favorable timeframe to let it be used by the users.
