Anonymous is known for its capabilities around the world for hacking the Websites of governmental and private bodies due to their movements that the hacking group deems uncivil and moves that hurt people’s right of freedom of expression.
Infamous Anonymous has defaced some 500 Webs of Chinese government gradually demanding to stop curbing the people right of freewill. The Chinese government has imposed stringent rules over the Internet lately. The scale of this hacking is bigger than an event in the past committed by the group. Anonymous invites programmers and hackers from all over the globe to be the part of their group and fight for justice in China. In one of its Tweets it asks the local people to wake up and protest for their rights.
One of the messages reads “Dear Chinese government, you are not infallible, today websites are hacked, tomorrow it will be your vile regime that will fall. So expect us because we do not forgive, never. What you are doing today to your Great People, tomorrow will be inflicted to you. With no mercy.”
Anonymous has also been involved in the campaigns against SOPA and PIPA, and ACTA in the past.
