Philips is introducing a new technology with its upcoming LCD monitor that it calls ErgoSensor. The technology is the first of its kind and full credits goes to the maker.

ErgoSensor advices you about the correct postures to sit at the computer, so you can save yourself from stiffed-neck moments. The smart tech from Philips also notifies you if you’re looking at the screen way too long, take a break.

Hidden in the bezel of 24inch monitor, ErgoSensor, pays you its handy advice about to maintain a fair distance from the monitor as well. Last but not least, the sensor detects user presence and if found no body around it will automatically turn off the monitor to save up to 80% of power consumption.
