Some 5-6 months from now you’ll be wearing a special kind of wrist watch that will hook up to your iPhone and (or) Android phone to do many things. But we’ve got its features with us right now.
The Pebble, is an elegant looking wrist watch coming in three colors: Black, White, and Red. This e-ink watch displays only black and white colors with its 144 x 168 pixels, which are enough to be read even under direct sunlight.
Consisting of an accelerometer, a vibrating motor, ARM microprocessor, and four buttons, Pebble can establish a contact with your Android powered phone and iPhone wirelessly via Bluetooth to show you caller IDs, subject lines of your email, and it can also grab data from many other apps on your phone to give you an easy access on your wrist.
The devs will be able to use open SDK to write their own apps for Pebble, whereas Watchapp Store will be accessible for all to download tools and other apps for the watch.
Pebble is simple yet striking with its looks, and it is near to enter into mass production. The watch is expected to price at $150 once it is out in September this year.
