
Sprint is embracing LG Viper 4G on its network that is still to be upgraded to Long Term Evolution sometime towards the mid of this year. Viper will be available starting from 22 April whereas pre-orders have already begun. People placing a pre-order shall receive LTE enabled device on 20 April. But there won’t be any price drops as it will remain $100 for all.
LG Viper 4G has 4inch screen size that shows the arrangement of 480×800 pixels with the help of Android 2.3 OS, which might get ICS update sooner or later. Viper incorporates 4GB internal memory and a microSD slot, 5MP rear camera and VGA front facing camera.
The handset is also to support Near Field Communication.
For the processing speed it relies on a dual-core 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM. LG Viper 4G is deemed a rival to Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus which is also expected to land on Sprint spectrum, with no date whispered yet.
LG Viper 4G shall be the “first 4G LTE device from Sprint with eco-friendly features.”
