Windows 8 maybe the next topic of discussion but it has caused some issues for Microsoft. Since its announcement that Windows 8 will be the first operating systems that comes from software giant’s lab supporting two chips from Intel and ARM, there rose branding challenges.
Before this Intel was the only chip that was supported by previous version of Windows.
After some consideration Microsoft has declares on its blog that Windows 8 will remain the name for machines using x86 chips.
On the other hand, Windows RT, aka Windows on ARM (WOA), will be the version using ARM processors.
The touch capability of new Windows OS has lots of potential to win the market, not only in tablet driven market but also in desktop PCs as well.
