You must have watched and liked the Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster of 2010, Inception. What an incredible idea to film in such a fantastic way. After his Batman series and few other movies I have become his fan.
William Finucane who is a science and engineering geek at Revolt Lab, uses the idea of lucid dreaming to build special kind of goggles that put you in charge of your dreams. A lucid dream is in which one can gain full control of his or her surroundings while dreaming, a concept whole Inception was built around.

Finucane used goggles, two LEDs, ATtiny85 microcontroller, 8 pin chip holder, Arduino, battery holder, 3 volt coin cell battery, perfboard, and a switch to build his project.
When you’re ready to sleep simply wear these goggles, and it will start flashing the LEDs on your eyes once you’ve entered into REM (Rapid Eye Movement). This operation will be repeated every two hours for about 10 minutes to give you a feel as you’re up but actually you’re asleep, winning the battlegrounds in your dreams.
Beware, don’t expect to make a timely come back like DiCaprio.
