What if the production of iPad ceases and its usage is banned. People who already own it would either keep it as a historical icon or would sell it on their own price. Whatever the case is, it sounds really horrid living without an iPad these days isn’t it?
Apple and Proview are ordered by the court to come to a mutual agreement with talks. Both companies have nodded yes to initiate the process of negotiation that may save money and precious time of them. Although, no date or venue has been decided yet but the move is seen as a positive sign especially for Apple which on loosing the case will forfeit the rights to use the iPad trademark in China and elsewhere.
Proview denies that Cupertino bought the rights to use the trademark in 2009. The Chinese company has been acting stringently since the issue has surfaced. It also warned the local distributors and seller to stop selling the tablet.
No comment has been passed by either of two companies but I wish they resolve the matter as soon as possible. If they fail, court will have to make a ruling and move ahead in the case.
