Vodafone e1335335182803 Mobile Carriers To Opt Stringent Privacy Control Guidelines
Users’ privacy is burning issue for almost every tech company that is directly involved with the end consumer. Mobile carriers are devising guidelines that will give users full control and will grant them the power to share the selective data upon their choice.

The whole process is being coordinated by Mobile Entertainment Forum which will create some tools discouraging advertisers and marketers to exploit user information without their will, such as happened in the case of “Girls Around Me” app which received lots of heat of criticism.

Coca Cola, Vodafone, and Turner Broadcasting, all three have signed to take the initiative towards the necessity.

The move is likely to prevent softwares from stealing the data which is not meant to be shared without user’s consent.
