HTC has been reported to have collaborated with Facebook to manufacture a smartphone that is set to release in the Q3 2012.
The device will be exclusive to the functions available on the leader social network. HTC has previously manufactured Facebook-enabled smartphones such as Salsa and Chacha.
It is the second collaboration of this kind where an Internet company joins a vendor to manufacturer handset for it. The first case has been a successful venture between Google and Samsung in shape of Nexus.
There is nothing more known about to-be-made smartphone right now but I deem it will it will run Android with a number of other advanced features of that time. How this new cooperation works out for both firms we’ll see that in third quarter, if it’s true.
