Well, back in February Apple acquired Chomp Inc for $50m, and at that time I predicted with heavy heart what if the app-search-engine is shut down for Android. This has happened, previously available on iPhone, iPad, and Android operating system Chomp is currently only downloadable on iOS platform. The app has also been deleted from Google Play store.
Few days back when I was trying to access the search engine on my Xperia Arc S in order to find some cool new apps it was unavailable, I quit trying after deeming that there might be some issue with my Internet connection but here I hear now that Cupertino didn’t want me to access it actually.
So what is next now? Am I, and our valuable users going to have another app of this kind or they will have to buy an iPhone.
