Last week in Australia some people abruptly cropped up in Sydney in front of Apple Store with signs saying “Wake Up”, and chanting the same words.
Now what is this? We know that Apple has already agreed to settle things with local authorities regarding 4G related allegations on the new iPad, then who this might be.
We know that iPhone maker has given tough time to Samsung in this land, wait a minute, is it Samsung behind this black campaign. But I they have denied their involvement.
Google? Maybe, who knows for sure, the search company is battling with Mac maker in its dreams since it outed Android, Albeit, it has become the most adopted OS worldwide but you cannot take iPhone and iPad out of your heart.
This mysterious campaign remains a question. If you know anything about it let me know in the comments or leave you general thoughts about this happening.
Update: RIM has been spotted behind this campaign against iPhone maker and an online video uploaded by Mr. Blunty in which he says that he was coincidentally present at the site where this flashmob hurled towards Apple Store, he has also been found an ex-worker at Research In Motion. Check out the video below.
Update 2: BlackBerry maker has admitted that it was behind staging this notable event. “We can confirm that the Australian ‘Wake Up’ campaign, which involves a series of experiential activities taking place across Sydney and Melbourne, was created by RIM Australia.”
