Google Maps Alternative in iOS 6 Apple Will Unveil Google Maps Alternative in iOS 6?

It has been reported the Apple Corporation is working on its own Mapping service and it will be released with the subsequent version of its iOS operating system, which means that it perhaps is going to kick off the Google Maps app off the OS.

Apple launched the iOS platform years ago and later by this year it is going to release the iOS 6 version, but it will be loaded with a new Mapping services that is designed by the company itself.

Reports state that Apple has been developing Google Maps alternative quite secretly and also that it will be bundled with the iOS 6 version. The app from Apple is fully going to replace the Google Maps application on the iOS and would be useful in delivering a much faster, cleaner as well as more reliable users experience as compared to what its predecessors are offering.

When it comes to Google Maps, the Mapping app by Apple will be providing users with not only driving directions but also will be pinpointing locales on the maps. Moreover, it will also support the StreetView feature with a 3D mode experience which will enable users to view their required places or areas in a more realistic manner.

As per the Apple’s correspondent, Apple has been inaudibly acquiring different mapping companies over the last few years which are now working on the Mapping app currently.

A firm called as C3 Technologies, is Swedish based company and it has been working on the Apple’s Mapping Apps 3D feature, whereas the other recent buys such as Poly9 and Placebase perhaps are working on the directions, database and other imperative features.

It appears that Apple has been gradually but for sure is pushing the Google Maps out of the league. In th month of March, the iOS iPhoto apps by Apple has been able to switch from Google Maps to OpenStreetMap data. Nevertheless, the changeover was not acknowledged by Apply until earlier this month.

Let’s wait and watch Apple play here!
