It has been recently announced by Facebook that is will be launching its very own Application store – Well we already have a large number of app stores to download the required apps from.
The application store is not going to be something unique for the entire platform. The Facebook’s app store is to be considered as an application aggregator. It is going to feature apps related to different genre, ranging from Android to iOS to desktop to Web apps. The store will be including both free as well as paid application. One of the primary objectives here for Facebook is to be an additional avenue for all the developers out there to make a good sum of money.

All such apps that are quality oriented will be highlighted over Facebook app store just as it is over the iTunes store. Moreover, users will also be able to rate the application, and the ones with highest votes will be prominently displayed on the Facebook App Store. Facebook Insights will also be used by the App store in order to monitor the popularity and ratings of the apps as per the demographics, age and more.
Facebook App Centre is to be launched in the next few weeks. Facebook has put out a call to all the developers out there so that they can submit their apps for submissions. The notice has been made public on the Facebook developer’s page. All such application that does not follow the Facebook App submission guidelines will not at all be features on the App store come launch day.
