Those who thought prior to the court-ordered meeting of the CEOs of Apple and Samsung that the tryst might abridge the gap between both top companies they must be little surprised of the outcome which actually hasn’t been fruitful for any.
Tim Cook and Choi Gee-sung, CEO of the Cupertino and Galaxy III maker respectively, were ordered by the Northern District Court of California to meet in order to reach at an agreement to end their ongoing legal dispute over patents infringements. After two days of talks no concrete solution was discussed, in fact, both parties were harping the same string they having been from more than a year now.
iPhone maker maintained its viewpoint that South Korean company has copies the designs of its various products whereas Samsung says that Apple must pay the royalties for using its wireless technology.
With that said, a trial a scheduled on July 30 and it looks like this court battle will continue to amaze billions around the world.
