The tech world is stuffed with lots of dashing smartphones and fascinating tablets with each offering certain edge over the other. But which of them would you prefer once stuck between two or more choices. Let’s assume you had been planning to buy Galaxy Note for yourself but there came Galaxy Tab 2 7incher with Ice Cream Sandwich and almost 2 inch bigger screen. Both look good, offer nice handy set of features, price is different obviously.

Galaxy Note Features
Galaxy Note. Is It A Note Or Tab 2
4G supported Galaxy Note has higher resolution on a smaller screen on 5.3 inches as compared with the tablet. It has 800 x 1280 pixels and Super AMOLED display that make images look so vibrant. It has got 8MP rear and 2MP front facing camera, 1.4 GHz dual core Cortex-A9 chip, 1GB RAM, card slot, 16GB internal memory (minimum), WiFi, and optional NFC. Note runs on Gingerbread and it also comes with a stylus, which gives you business look.

Galaxy Tab 2 7.0

But when we ponder about getting ourself 7inch tablet by Samsung it has bigger screen and latest Android version, ICS, 600 x 1024 pixels with PLS LCD display. It has nice touch response and incorporates 3.15MP as its primary camera and a VGA front camera for conference calls, which is a disappointment. This economical tablet has 1GHz dual core processor and 1 Gigabyte of RAM, and is only 3G supported. Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 also has an Infrared port that has almost become a history after the advent of Bluetooth technology.

Price Factor

If you’re still unable to decide then spending more dollars ($545) on Note would be justified in my opinion since it has more top notch features. On the contrary, the 7 inch slate is just meant for those folks who want to spend less money ($249) to enjoy the wonders of tablet laden world.

If you live in UK and cannot afford the standalone price of Galaxy Note then in Carphone’s this week’s smart deal it is available for £20.50/month.

And yes, no matter whichever you buy none will fit in your pockets.
