Showcased at the International Tokyo Toy Show 2012, the Smartpet, is a four-legged robot that attaches to your iPhone and iPod Touch in a fashion to turn it into a walking gadget. At the top speed of three strides per second this Smartpet has more than one hundred reactions once voice commanded by the user.
It also responds the same way with a touch gesture as it does with voice commands. The interactive toy is controlled by a dedicated app with which you can choose to give your iPhone a face of your choice from multiple options. The app also enables you to feed the onscreen cartoons with virtual food and enjoy the game-playing with them.
Bandai’s robotic toy will be available across Japan in white and black colors at $100, approximately.
