In the Microsoft-event in Hollywood company’s chief executive Steve Ballmer has raised curtain from the two home-made Windows tablets, Surface.
Both slates will come having 10.6inch display screen and they combine the features of a tablet and a PC or laptop as a very sleek attachable keyboard will be packed in the box with them, following the suit of Asus TransformerPad TF300.

The overall look and feel of Surface is quite good as it has very nice viewing angles without any deterioration and the company has also decided to fix a kickstand on its body for, maybe, movie lovers. Windows RT version of the tablet PC is 9.3mm and weighs 676g, and will encompass wither 32GB or 64GB.

On the contrary, Pro Version is little thicker with 13.5mm and heavier as well with having 903g weight, and it will have 128GB onboard memory.
Microsoft has relied on its own capabilities to manufacture the Surface tablets as it “felt they could not rely on others to deliver on their vision for Windows 8 in mobile computing.”
They want to target the iPad and the Ultrabooks users with a hope people will replace their current gadgets for what Xbox maker has stored in for them. No release date has been mentioned for their release but it October is widely whispered for this event.
