I am not shocked to see the teasing advertisement from HTC on Facebook depicting that it may have stored a Siri clone for its users. I mean after all almost every manufacturer is trying to catch up the innovative personal assistant app developed by Apple.
Samsung, the copycat, has recently done so with S Voice in Galaxy S III, and Quick Voice app from LG is another example of this intent.
On the FB page HTC ad displays One X in which an anonymous software is shown talking to a dog, translating its voice in other words. Top of the picture is the army styled Top Secret red stamp and at the bottom the ad states “Sorry dog fans, this isn’t real!”
And then the Sensation maker says “Ever wonder what your pet has been trying to tell you all these years? (**Hey everyone – we were just having a bit of fun since we’ve been talking about pets all week. Wouldn’t it be great if we had a translator for our dogs?)”
Well, this weird ad points towards Siri-like personal assistant that might be integrated into upcoming lot of smartphones by Taiwanese manufacturer.
