When Google announced its Kindle Fire rival last week I was really excited, honestly, given its quad core processor and some other specs. But after hearing that Apple is zeroing in on October for launching its iPad Mini staying in the same price range as other 7 inchers are, I feel happier.
It certainly will come as a nightmare for each, Google and Amazon, who are trying their utmost to pose a real time competition for the Californian company.
The sources have told Bloomberg that iPad Mini will measure 7 or 8 inches diagonally and will not have Retina Display like the new iPad and latest model of MacBook Air, but it surely will come with a crisp display like the iPad 2. Apple certainly has an advantage in the market with its 360 stores as compared to the 20 of Microsoft and none from Google who announced to sell the Nexus 7 online. It can outplay its rivals in the game with surprise.
The ball is in Apple’s court now.
