Two days ago Bloomberg reported about Amazon’s plans of making its own smartphone that in the wildest guess will compete with the leader of today, iPhone.
Foxconn, all time controversial Chinese OEM, is working closely with the Internet retailer to manufacture the demanded product.
Learning from the bitter experience of itself being involved in 20 patent lawsuits last year and 5 cases of same nature this year, Amazon, is busy acquiring patents for wireless technology to be used for its potential upcoming smartphone, saving itself from piles of allegations for infringing the tech.
Amazon is also rumored to launch a 10inch tablet, maybe named Kindle Fire 10, toward the end of this running month. The company is widening its business prospects in the ever-intense consumer market where major players like Apple and Samsung are way ahead of its contemporaries. Considering that, how Amazon plans to enter in this 3 years old market in a successful manner time holds a right answer to this question.
We can only wish to have something new and better because I am tired of Android.
