Gone are the days when the touchscreen technology was limited to adults only. Today’s kids are practically born digital, as they can make use of touch enabled devices along with their parents, thanks to kids’ apps.
The Fisher-Price PlayLab, headquartered in New York, is always there to help the infants stay and play in a digital environment. This digital lab is equipped with thousands of toys, came from some top manufacturing companies all over the world. The kids here spend their time in a free and safe environ so that they are able to explore whatever captures their interest. Who doesn’t like toys in this age?
According to Director of Child Research at Fisher-Price, Kathleen Alfano, the mostly liked app at their center currently is the Laugh & Learn, which is estimated to have crossed 2.8 million downloads on iPhones.
The app is highly featured with four different modes of play including English alphabets and counting. Also it is having different animated shapes and colors which are displayed by touching the screen or pressing a Monkey’s shape paw. Additionally, some funny animated pictures and music is also a part of the app to catch the interest of kids of various age groups.
However, the children are not at all left in the lab at their own, as the experienced and qualified staff members are always there to guide them in the right way.
ABC’s Zoo Learning, and Tap and Color are two more fantastic games for infants. Give them your iPhone Mama.
