After setting aside the trademark dispute with Proview Technology, Apple has announced the roll-out date of its new iPad in China, July 20, at last.
The new iPad was held back due to an ongoing tussle with Proview but the Cupertino’s agreement to pay $60m as a settlement fee to end this legal battle paved the way for this day when company’s 3rd gen tablet makes its way to the world’s second biggest economy.
Apple has also been, on and off, rebuked by all and sundry for putting in no or less effort to raise the working standards at Foxconn, where the labor has been highly exploited over the working conditions. iPhone has agreed to improve the situation but no avail so far.
All the same, iOS 5 powered this high end tablet from the American company is ready to go head to head with Lepads of Lenovo and Galaxy Tabs from Samsung.
