It also produces high resolution images to make you feel like you’re actually part of the gaming environment. As a prototype, Oculus Rift sounds very promising and it has won the support of many industry experts already. On Kickstarter, it reached its $250,000 goal in just one day and still there are 28 days to go and already has 4587 backers as of the moment of writing.
The developer is wishing to involve more professionals so to make a consumer version the sooner it is possible. You can get the dev kit of Rift by this December if you have extra $300 to pay.
