You may know Honda with cars only but the company has already jumped into the making robots like ASIMO, and the Uni-Cub, which is a self adjusting drive.
Their latest take in the field of robotics is MiiMo that mows the garden in a traditional way without you requiring on the field.
With the help of its intelligent built-in sensors it can cut 2-3mm of grass in a perfect fashion, any time you want. It has the ability to slow down its speed where thicker grass requires effective cutting ability. MiiMo can also climb 30 degrees of slopes in your garden without tripping.
Honda believes lawnmower robots to be the fastest growing market in Europe and maybe that is why two models of MiiMo are expected to be out earlier next year. The price of this robot is kept a secret so far but we it will not cost the old folks more than having a human gardener.
