Some tech-freak Chinese researchers has recently demoed their mind controlled quadcopter drone on a YouTube video. Unlike any hand controlled one, the Flying Buddy 2 develops a connection with human brainwaves through a WiFi to receive the signals from an EEG wore by the person in command.

The Emotive Electroencephalography headset sends the signal to a laptop via Bluetooth which are further forwarded to the Buddy to direct its flight. With blinking of your eyes you can capture the in-air view with this smart drone which streams those pictures back to your laptop for greater control.

Zhejiang University’s drone is in its early stage of development and will not be seen flying over your heads any time sooner but yes you can take a look at this amazing innovation at UbiComp conference in Pittsburg, USA, starting from this Wednesday.

Make sure you don’t spy on a killer like LaBeouf in Disturbia.
