GlassJB 02 580x287 JetBlue Demonstrates the Potential of Google Glass at the Airports

Google recently started taking pre-orders from eligible creative people for Google Glass through its #ifihadglass campaign. In response to that JetBlue has created a concept for Google Glass that shows the potential of that high tech gadget at the airports. The concept shows how Google Glass could get useful for travelers and help them do things and make air travel convenient for them.

The concept, which has been created by JetBlue with a tag line that says “we would continue to help the world view air travel through a whole new lens.” demonstrates how users could look for status of their flight, look up taxi far estimates, look for a place to park, and directions to baggage claim without even using their hands and while walking.

The interface JetBlue has used in its concept is different and perhaps better than what we have seen from Google so far. How great it would be if third party developers could create apps for Google Glass and companies like JetBlue could release their own applications to make the life easier for users.

Google is actively promoting Google Glass these days and is going to ship the units to developers soon. The device is expected to get released later this year and cost ‘less than $1,500′.

Have a look at the concept made by JetBlue.
