The e-ink smartwatch concept made by Plastic Logic shows us how a smartwatch with an e-ink will look like. The concept watch features a slick design and a color display. The watch looks ultra thin and features a curved design that makes it easier and more comfortable for the user to wear. In their e-ink smartwatch concept Plastic Logic has not only showed the designed but also showcased some potential features of the device. The features include phone connectivity, QR code reading, email, and heart rate tracking among other things.
Apple iWatch concept
If Apple makes a smartwatch then that would definitely look something like the concept you can see in the image above. Made by designer named Martin Hajek this particular smartwatch concept shows us how smartwatch would look like if it was made according to the design principles Apple follows with its current set of iOS devices. It features a leather strap and has an iOS like user interface that could be controlled using touch gestures. The iWatch smartwatch concept made by Hajek also features front facing camera as well as microphone suggesting that users will be able to make both video and voice calls using this device. The device by the looks of it looks quite simple and elegant and closely depicts the iWatch Apple might be working on based on the current design principles of the company.
Google Time
Google Time is another concept that makes us want a smartwatch and that too made by Google. The concept does not details the physical or design details of the device but it heavily mentions what feature a smartwatch made by Google will be like. Not surprisingly it will heavily take advantage of the search engine and other Google services including Gmail, Calendar etc. The concept also showed how Google Now could be used on a smartwatch and how easy it could make using the device just with voice commands.
